**Remarks:
- • To access the control’s settings, long press the item. Ex: To display the power dialog, long press the lock screen button.
- • Just as with Android widgets, Edge Panel has constraints that prevent us from making sliders. Therefore, swipes cannot be used to change the brightness or loudness settings; only touches can.
- • To safeguard users from possible abuse such as data theft, several settings such as Airplane Mode, Mobile Data, and Location cannot be automatically toggled on and off. These parameters are manually managed by the users.
• The lock screen function
- – Android P (Android 9) >= Android OS The lock screen function works well.
- – Due to Google policy, devices running Android OS < Android P (Android 9) will request a pattern or password in place of a fingerprint or iris.
- • Because Samsung forbids third-party programs from operating on its tablets and foldable devices (except from the Z Flip series), Control Center isn’t compatible with them.
** Compatible gadgets:
- • Only compatible with Samsung handsets with Edge Screens, including the Galaxy Note, Galaxy S, Galaxy A, and Galaxy Z Flip series.
** How to apply:
- • Selecting an application, then Display, Edge panels, and Control Center panel
- When a new version is installed, go to Settings > Display > Edge panels > Uncheck Control Center panel, then check it again.
- • Please repeat the second step (uncheck and check again) if there are any issues.
** Authorization
When you select Controls in the Edge Panels, all permissions are shown together with a thorough explanation, and you have the option to accept or reject the requests for permission. The following are a few permissions:
• Accessibility permission: the application needs this permission in order to operate in certain ways. Go to Settings > Accessibility > Installed applications, turn off Control Center, and that will remove this access. • android.permission.RECORD_AUDIO: This permission, which is for screen recording control, enables Control Center to record audio.
• permission.android.CAMERA: In order to scan QR codes and activate flash lights, access to the camera device is necessary.
